Red Fox : Flow of Light and Shadow

The White-haired Lion King, looking serious as he purchases tea, is friendly approached by a dog, revealing his good character. Chen Hung-Yao mentioned that when he created this scene, he was not yet 30 and could draw the intricate black gauze hat without glasses. In the bustling market, where peddlers hawk their wares, tax collectors suddenly appear at the door, highlighting the tough realities of the era. Just one year after the previous major work, The Legend of Yi-Dow, Red Fox no longer uses onomatopoeia or motion lines. Instead, the story advances entirely through the storyboard approach. Chen Hung-Yao challenges himself in this work by visually depicting “the sound of the wind” and “the scent of hair.” Red Fox: A Spin-off, page 08,10,11,12
