Material: Square bamboo, laminated bamboo

This portable tea set combines “tea”, a Taiwan’s local agricultural product with the of “bamboo”, an eco-friendly material to showcase the uniqueness and competitiveness of Taiwan’s refined industries. The artist unfolded bamboo strips and bonded them to laminated bamboo, then cut and sanded into outer case. Charred bamboo was carved with decorative patterns and inlaid onto the lid and tea tray. Additionally, square bamboo was carved to create tools such as a tea scoop, tea pick, and tea spoon. The lid of the outer case serves as the tea tray, while the lower compartment stores all the tea utensils, working with both easy storage and portability.
