- “PANG-BO”, the native way of saying “canvas” in Taiwan, is a project aimed at designing and reutilising discarded canvases that were formally used in billboard advertisements. To match the characteristics of being durable, waterproof and UV/sun resistant, we have decided to incorporate the rising trend of outdoor activities and camping into our design language in producing accessories that accommodates both daily and outdoor uses. Furthermore, we have applied the technique of optical illusions through converting patterns from a 2-dimensional into a 3-dimensional standpoint, which addresses the dreariness people tend to subconsciously associate canvases with.
