「點翠」為中國傳統貴金屬加工技法，其特色在於從活翠鳥身上拔取羽毛並將其黏貼於金屬上。而「翠煉」是以點翠的技藝作為基礎，將原有的羽毛材料替代為玉米葉的金工作品，不僅保留了點翠的美，還為玉米葉賦予了全新的價值。另外，玉米葉的紋路不但還原了翠鳥羽毛的紋理，它還能夠染成各種不同色彩，跳脫羽毛只有藍色的色彩限制，為作品更增添了視覺豐富度。
"Kingfisher feather art" is a traditional metal processing technique that involves plucking feathers from a living kingfisher and attaching them to metal. My work is based on the techniques of "kingfisher feather art," but instead of using feathers, I use corn leaves. This approach not only preserves the aesthetic qualities of "kingfisher feather art" but also gives new value to corn leaves. Additionally, the texture of corn leaves resembles that of feathers and can be dyed in various colors, breaking away from traditional color limitations and adding visual richness to the work.
