In this painting, using ink to depict the night scene, and beneath the illumination of the high moon, the continuous mountains emerge from the clouds and appear more mysterious and majestic. The mountains in the painting are presumed to be the Jade Mountain range that can be seen in Chiayi, and underneath, a dense sea of clouds is depicted using a haloing technique, with the clouds and mists in the mountains echoing each other. This painting was made by Lu Yun-Shen when he taught at the Blessed Imelda's School, and was given to Lin Yu-San as a souvenir, but was finally returned to its original owner thirty years later.
