Having hoped to live outside the mundane world makes this life similar to a military march! Imaginably, it must come with endless and persistent suffering! However, one should not be despondent. The situation is indeed pitiful, but do not give in to fear and stop! The road to one’s ideal is paved with corpses as stepping stones. The dawning light cascading from the skylight was calling out, “Wake up!”, lighting up the dark gloom. Ever since, the souls embracing each other have been relentlessly shouting “The light! The light!”, breaking free from the darkness and running. Live for the reform of it all. This mundane world is not a place for the flesh to drift. As Ernst Toller once said, “a man who has no strength to dream has lost the strength to live.” Respectfully, Chih-Chi and Chien-Chien
