Throughout my entire life, I have never received a certificate of graduation, but I have Issued it to countless people. I never went to university, but I had taught at Tunghai University and Chinese Culture University for many years. I am also a Ministry of Education certified higher degree examiner, and also the first Buddhist monk to be awarded a medal by the Ministry. Who am I? I am just a mere ordinary Buddhist monk. In my eyes, all these national recognition and honors attained for academic and cultural achievements, out of a sense of shame, I regard them as honors which only happen once in a thousand years.
