Little Star Kindergarten
In 2000, the Little Star Kindergarten was established in Hsinying, Tainan.
Abiding by Fo Guang Shan's principle of education, the kindergarten aims to nurture moral values and independence in children. Combining the Seven Areas and the Eight Intelligences, emphasis is placed on the children's personal development along with teaching methods designed according to their needs, to ensure that the children acquire problem solving skills, courage to explore life and their surroundings, and from games, inspire self-dependence. Venerable Master has named the kindergarten as such out of the hope that these children can shine like little stars in the sky.
Hui Tzu Kindergarten
In 1981, Hui Tzu Kindergarten was established inside the vicinity of Hui Tzu Temple in Tainan. With compassion as the cause for establishment, childhood education at the kindergarten emphasizes the child's physical, psychological, and moral development. Abiding by the principle of placing each child's condition as top priority, a series of diverse curriculum have been designed to inspire wisdom and knowledge within the child while exploring the environment and acquiring knowledge through games and interaction. Integrating an all-round education and care principle, where creative thinking is the main approach, the children are offered an open learning space at the kindergarten.
Tzu Hang Kindergarten
In 1976, the Tzu Hang Kindergarten was established in Tainan. With compassion as the cause for establishment, emphasis is placed on the infant's personal development, so as to strengthen their bonds with family through education, and inspire creativity as well as offer an open learning environment. For thirty years, the quality lineup of teachers, complete facilities, and inspirational teaching methods at the kindergarten have continued to win recognition by the government. Many awards have been issued by the Tainan City Government and the Ministry of the Interior. In particular, the Montessori Method has turned the kindergarten into a professional early-childhood education center that inspires psychological health in children.
