New Year Couplets
In order to oblige his devotees' wishes and requests, Venerable Master has lost count of the pieces of calligraphy he has written for them throughout his life. In late 1996, a devotee requested for the Venerable Master to write a few words for the coming new year as an expression of blessings. Finding this to be a very meaningful gesture, he wrote "Peace and Auspicious Blessings" for the devotee,
who printed two hundred thousand copies as gifts to others. The prints ran out within just a few days. From then on, it became a tradition for Venerable Master to write a couplet for each new year as his blessings for the devotees. This tradition is still continuing as of today.
