On February 3, 1991, in response to the needs of local Buddhist practitioners, the BLIA ROC (now BLIA Chunghwa) was established. On May 16, 1992, BLIA
World Headquarters was established at Hsi Lai Temple in the United States, where the first General Conference also took place at Los Angeles. The BLIA Young Adult Division is a youth organization under the BLIA. It is headquartered in Hsi Lai Temple in Los Angeles, California, the United States, and has close to 200 chapters worldwide. The Young Adult Division actively participates in various
FGS temple and BLIA activities, encouraging young adults to learn and practice Buddhism, and even establish chapters. Under the dedication and hard work of young Buddhists, the seeds of Dharma have been taking root in different parts of the world.
