This ceramic column in the shape of an irregular pentagon features a beveled top adorned with a lustrous glaze of tea leaf powder that radiates the breath of spring. And, its body exhibits the natural grayish-yellow hue of the clay from its vibrant patterns, reminiscent of the good earth. Shaped from ceramic slabs, while the work is neat, it incorporates organic, abstract variations; the multi-step fabricating process brings out diverse looks, vividly showcasing the beauty of material and artistry of the craftsmanship.
