從國外口腔衛生教育制度反觀台灣的齲齒率，日本早在台灣之前做好嬰幼兒的口腔衛教方針。
“齒為骨之餘;齦為胃之絡”牙齒是人的門面也是我們用來咀嚼食物的工具，人的一生有兩組牙齒為乳牙與恆牙。乳牙是我們每個人的第一組牙齒，有許多的新手父母對於乳牙照護的觀念是欠缺的甚至是錯誤的，並非乳牙掉了還會換恆牙就不用去照顧不用去處理，乳牙蛀牙不去處理會造成換牙後更容易發生蛀牙的狀況，提早掉牙會造成恆牙齒列不正，間接造成營養攝取的不足，嚴重影響健康，而乳牙也有一套針對學齡前孩童的公式教導孩子與新手父母如何去正確的清潔與保護牙齒。
乳牙照護的重要引響孩子深遠，我們將牙齒的基本常識、疾病與照護及清潔方式視覺化，透過製作繪本與學習圖卡藉以提升新手父母與學齡前孩童對牙齒的認知與加強乳牙照護觀念。

Taking good care of temporary teeth is a quite profound knowledge. Comparing with the oral health education in Japan, Taiwan is one step later. Many new parents are lack of knowledge about taking care of their children’s teeth. It is not that temporary teeth isn’t important because they’ll turn into permanent teeth. An untreated caries may lead to early loss of the primary dentition and causing malocclusion of the deciduous teeth. Furthermore, it will affect the nutrient intake because of the difficulty in mastication. Therefore, early oral health education of the temporary teeth is extremely important.
We visualize oral health education and edit a more life-oriented picture book to point out the essential of taking good care of temporary teeth and the correct understanding of dental teeth.
