設計動機：
在自閉症類群障礙的孩子們中感覺統合失調的比例很高。如果孩子的感覺統合失調，將導致他們很難專心聽課及工作。他們的身體時常輸入干擾信息，以至於他們沒辦法做出與大多數孩童一樣的反應，進而影響到他們的心理自信發展。當感覺統合問題影響到孩子日常生活時，感覺統合將能在一定程度上幫助孩童與家長掌握孩子的身體狀況。市面上的感統教具多功能單一，為解決此問題，因此我們設計出Ripple 搖搖馬套組，將感統訓練需要的元素結合為一項產品，將以拆解、組合的方式改變教具的模式，並以搖搖馬深植人心的童趣形象作為主要型態，希望能夠幫助感覺統合失調的兒童減少生活中的障礙，快樂成長。
設計說明：
此產品有助於3-6歲的孩子學習「粗大動作」、「社會情緒」及「日常生活」。刺激孩子的前庭覺、本體覺、觸覺及視覺，以遊戲的方式幫助孩子進行感覺統合，以及改善人際互動。Ripple搖搖馬套組，是一個富含多種形態、可自由組合，給予孩子前庭覺、本體覺、觸覺及視覺刺激的感統教具。
設計理念：
針對自閉症孩子感覺統合失調，我們設計出Ripple搖搖馬套組「一種教具，多種用途為核心」，以遊戲的方式幫助孩子們調整感覺統合失調。
主要有四種模式:「平衡板、觸覺台、蜿蜒步道」及「搖搖馬」。
平衡板可讓孩子以站立、坐姿、趴臥等姿勢搖晃以刺激前庭覺並練習粗大動作，不同紋理的矽膠顆粒則可以刺激觸覺；觸覺台面上佈滿小柱子，會隨著施力改變而升降。並且可配合APP調整檯面上的燈光顏色與連接音樂讓燈光隨著音樂變動，刺激孩子的視覺、聽覺及觸覺。
共含有五塊過河石、兩塊平衡木、兩隻障礙棒。可自由排列、設計關卡讓孩子以匍匐、行走、螃蟹走路等方式遊玩，訓練動作計畫能力；觸覺台本體的內嵌式腳踏板設計可防止孩子絆倒受傷。
同時觸覺台上的小柱子將隨著孩子身形下陷，給予觸覺刺激及前庭覺刺激。兩端不同高度的握把可供不同身高的孩子或姿勢騎乘。

Ripple Rocking Horse Kit aims to mitigate these challenges by integrating essential sensory training elements into a versatile product. Unlike conventional sensory tools, Ripple transforms into various configurations, inspired by the beloved rocking horse, fostering sensory integration and joyful growth.
Design Description:
Targeting children aged 3-6, Ripple aids in gross motor skills, social-emotional development, and daily life activities. Stimulating vestibular, proprioceptive, tactile, and visual senses through playful engagement promotes sensory integration and interpersonal interactions. Ripple is a modular kit offering diverse forms, encouraging sensory stimulation and integration.
Design Concept:
Ripple Rocking Horse Kit, designed for children with sensory integration dysfunction, adopts a "one tool, multiple uses" approach. It encompasses four modes: Balance Board, Tactile Podium, Meandering Path, and Rocking Horse. The Balance Board stimulates vestibular senses and gross motor skills, while the Tactile Podium's embedded foot pedals prevent tripping and provide sensory stimulation. Different handle heights accommodate children of varying heights or riding postures.
