Established in 1953, Fengshan Buddhist Lotus Society was administered
by Venerable Master Hsing Yun's old friend, Venerable Zhu Yun. In the
Summer of 1953, the Venerable Master was invited to host a grand
Dharma Lecture. The conference was outdoor and there were thousands of audience members who had to remain standing for the entire time.
The lecture started at 7pm and finished at 11pm. Nonetheless, at the end of the lecture, everyone applauded and wished for the Venerable Master to continue teaching. He spoke for a bit longer, and eventually ended the
event close to 12 midnight.

Venerable Master Hsing Yun spoke on the Diamond Sutra in Fengshan Buddhist Lotus Society
Initiated by Venerable Zhu Yun, Venerable Master Hsing Yun was invited to give talks on the Diamond Sutra, which were attended by more than 300 listeners every night. In particular, the devotees were deeply impressed by the solemnity of the event.

Giving Dharma talks in Fengshan Buddhist Lotus Society.
The Venerable Master was invited to teach the Dharma in Fengshan Buddhist Lotus Society for a week. On the last day, hundreds of members lined up at the train station to see off the Venerable Master before he went back to Yilan.
