“BAN INOUE” represents a journey in craftsmanship rooted in the traditional “mosquito net weaving” of Nara Prefecture, Japan, and hemp materials. At its core lies the commitment to doing without adding burden on the Earth and to put the “circular economy” into practice. BAN INOUE’s mission: to value the spirit of hand-craftsmanship and promote a comfortable lifestyle. The essence of the products and services lies in considering the recycling of raw materials right from the stage of brand design, and in the sustainable, circular practice of resource conservation. “Marrow” employs the traditional “brushing” textile technique, using rollers with needles to restore the fabric to its original fibrous state, thereby giving it new life. This is a sustainable act which “Ban” is proud of.
