近年台灣青少年自殺事件頻傳，除了學校與社群的壓力之外，家庭有時也占了很大一部分:父母並不會意識到自身「以愛之名」的教育方式對成長期的青年是多麼痛苦的一件事，又或是刻意的視而不見—這似乎也顯示傳統華人對孩童的權威教育方式仍根深蒂固的影響著我們的社會。
本片以數位動畫為媒介，對華人文化講求順從與成績至上的教育方式進行討論，並融合在地元素進行創作。
In recent years, there have been frequent incidents of youth suicide in Taiwan. Apart from the pressures from school and society, the family sometimes plays a significant role. Parents may not realize how painful their "loving" educational methods can be for adolescents during their developmental stage, or they deliberately turn a blind eye to it. This seemingly demonstrates how the traditional authoritarian parenting style in Chinese culture still deeply influences our society.
This film utilizes digital animation as a medium to discuss the Chinese cultural emphasis on obedience and academic achievement in education. It also incorporates local elements into the creative process.
