疏離效果是布萊希特在敘事劇場中操作手法(epic theatre)。敘事劇場具有喚醒觀眾意識的意圖，抵抗傳統的亞里斯多德式(Aristotelian)劇場，認為那些戲劇性的劇場幻覺手法，使得許多傳統價值和行為模式恆常不變，觀眾只能觀看，卻無法參與行動。
他試圖將觀眾從劇場幻覺中脫離，利用疏離效果巧妙地操縱審美距離，讓人時而投入劇情之中，時而跳出共鳴反映之外，使觀眾保持批判與客觀、做審美經驗的主控者，在不斷的進出之間，形成共鳴與疏離的張力動能關係，進而產生觀念的轉移。
而松山鐵路地下化後形成的狹長綠帶，打著都市縫合的美名，實際上只是以另一種形式切割這塊地方，現行的做法既缺乏考慮當地的脈絡以及使用者需求，也無法提供在都市中的定位，
都市公共空間的形塑不該只是服務於某種特定的政治或經濟的意圖而缺乏考慮實際在地的事物以及使用者自身的創造，因此我試圖在基地上操作疏離效果，使人從被動的狀態脫離成為主動。
基地分成三個部分，操作分別取自三個不同的劇場，同時呼應基地各自的周邊條件及都市定位，分別是：站前 廣場與廟埕的關係在經意、中段，狹長且被市民大道包夾的綠地空間卻被切割得更狹窄，視線不斷被壓縮的情況下產生的新的連結以及尾段，被道路從中劃開破碎的空間，同時從都市來看這裡也作為連接下一個地點的位置，利用不斷旋轉的身體經驗，讓人在縫隙及反射中窺探和搜集這個地方的線索。

The long and narrow green belt formed by the underground Songshan Railway, under the reputation of urban stitching, is actually just cutting the place in another form. The current practice lacks consideration of the local context and user needs, and cannot provide Positioning in the city,
The shaping of urban public space should not only serve a specific political or economic intention without considering the actual things on the ground and the user’s own creation. The site is divided into three parts, and the operations are taken from three different theaters. At the same time, it responds to the surrounding conditions and urban positioning of the base. They are: the relationship between the square in front of the station and the temple is in the Jingyi and the middle, and it is long and narrow and is covered by the Civic Avenue The green space between the clamps is cut narrower, and the new connection and tail section created under the condition that the line of sight is constantly compressed, the broken space is divided by the road, and at the same time, it is also used as a location to connect to the next place from the urban perspective. , Using the continuously rotating body experience, let people spy and collect clues about this place in the gaps and reflections.
