Every country will develop a unique culture around religious beliefs, and of course Taiwan is no exception. Our protagonist will originate from the traditional native place in Xinzhuang, New Taipei City. In order to allow children to recognize and understand This culture, so we used the form of picture books and set the story time in September, because the duty of officials and generals is to punish evil people. Through the seventh month of the lunar calendar, children can learn about officials and generals and learn the taboos of September. and knowledge. Every time the rain breaks out in the seventh month of the lunar calendar, a large amount of rain will pour into the world. At this time, our officers and generals are needed to help maintain order. The official name of the generals was originally called the Eight Generals, symbolizing the criminal police in the underworld. It originated from the Dizang Temple in Xinzhuang. Initially, there were only two generals, the generals and the generals. According to legend, General Zengshen was once an evil demon who was later subdued by Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva and became his protector general. The image of the chief officer is presented as wearing a Erlang helmet, and his face is decorated with false eyebrows, sideburns and fangs, showing his ferocious appearance. Believers will paint facial makeup on officials and generals to show different roles. We have made the painting style cute so that children will not be afraid of it, and we hope that the picture book can help children better understand Taiwan’s local folk culture and understand the art group.
