宴世食代 - New Year’s Eve Bento

「宴世食代」主打個人辦桌體驗,並將辦桌宴席菜規劃為外帶年菜便當。 現代年輕人對辦桌文化不熟悉,更是對團聚時親戚的關心與無意的比較感到厭煩。我們用厭世的角度去詮釋大家的生活經驗,希望獨自在外吃飯的同時能聯想到團聚時的溫暖。 - The philosophy of "New Years Eve's Bento" is for people to get a taste of what is like to be in a Taiwanese roadside banquet. The outdoor catering feast dishes are going to be transformed into a special personal boxed meal(bento) for Chinese New Year in this exhibition. The youth of today are not familiar with the Taiwanese roadside banquet culture. Meanwhile, they may feel a lot of anxiety and "pressure" to see the relatives over Chinese New Year. Our presentation here is to depict everyone's daily life experiences in a cynical view, and hope that the works bring the warmth of family gatherings to the one who eat alone.
