歷史的殘影駐留在這片土地，我們利用建物原有的特點，讓人沒有界線的穿梭在各個空間中，動線、視線、材質滲透交融，曖昧的接觸為旅客與當地人創造一個對話的場域，延續產業歷史的故事並譜寫屬於新埔的文化精神。
而在此空間中，以「茶」作為載體，從探討台灣茶的精神層面，並結合當地的客家人文特色，創造出以「和、享、清、靜」為中心思想的文化空間，並以「中介空間」為主策略，模糊並融洽相異的存在，讓原先已閒置卻代表著當地過去茶產業遺跡的歷史建築重現。
The remnants of history reside in this land, we use the original characteristics of the building, let people travel through various spaces without boundaries, moving lines, lines of sight, materials penetrate and blend, ambiguous contact for tourists and locals to create a dialogue field, continue the story of industrial history and compose the cultural spirit belonging to Xinpu.
In this space, with "tea" as the carrier, from the perspective of exploring the spiritual level of Taiwanese tea, and combining the local Hakka cultural characteristics, a cultural space with "harmony, enjoyment, purity and tranquility" as the central idea is created, and "intermediary space" is the main strategy, blurring and harmonizing the existence, so that the historical buildings that were originally idle but represent the relics of the local tea industry in the past can be reproduced.
