Inspired by the rhythm of ocean waves, layers of geometric semicircles evoke figures dancing on a summer night. Combining barkcloth with natural plant dyes, the work captures the midsummer landscape where Hualien’s mountains meet the sea. Green represents the rift valley, blue the ocean, while warm yellow and orange-red reflect the sunset. Dark tones embrace the night, creating a vibrant landscape where nature and movement intertwine.
