Amid

In the final moments of legend, there emerges a sequence of nostalgic visual fragments, romantically referred to as the carousel of life, and scientifically known as "gamma oscillations." During this period, one painstakingly reconstructs deep-seated memories fragment by fragment. As humans heavily rely on vision for perception and recollection, it is often likened to a slideshow. However, intriguingly, the last sense to fade away is believed to be touch or hearing, a notion corroborated by scientific findings. Perhaps during that interval, our ears are privy to a multitude of sensations intertwined with the external world and memories, reminiscent of the lines from "Deer Enclosure" by Wang Wei: "In empty mountains, one sees no one; Only the echoes of human voices can be heard. Returning sunlight penetrates deep into the woods, Illuminating once more the green moss."
