國立臺灣工藝研究發展中心（以下簡稱本中心）隸屬於文化部，致力於工藝文化推廣與工藝產業扶植， 業務職掌包含工藝研創、人才培育、工藝檢測修復、研究出版與展覽、工藝典藏加值應用、地方工藝扶植、工藝美學教育推廣、工藝產業輔導、國際交流合作等工作。

工藝源自生活，以人為本。基礎於色彩心理學中綠色的正面象徵，本中心提出「綠工藝」概念，涵容工藝的多元價值， 歸納出內涵面與實踐面兩大核心精神理念：內涵面之工藝精神理念包含自然、循環、平衡、寬容、生命力；實踐面則包含頂真精神、工作倫理、愉悅勞動與生活美學。

本於前述綠工藝精神理念，本中心為推動臺灣工藝文化發展與交流之平臺，施政關照之對象除了包括工藝產業生態系中所有參與者， 亦期許藉由工藝介入社會，促進公民參與，以關照生活在臺灣這塊土地上的所有人民，實踐Craft for All之理念，達成健全臺灣工藝生態系與臺灣工藝價值的社會實踐之雙重目標。

西屹設計有限公司－1996年成立於臺灣臺南市， 是專業產品開發公司，具有深厚的人文性產品思考。
企業精神「對話」，對話使得老人與小孩、製造者與消費者、使用者與設計者…等，產生共通的記憶與規範、價值觀及生活哲學，進而延伸特有的人文，透過設計產生獨特的型態與模式，貼近人心符合使用者需求的作品。
創辦人王士俊老師，在公司成立當年即獲得，世界傑出工業設計競賽－金牌獎（1996 lDEA AWARD），是全球華人第一位獲獎者，創作領域包含設計、工藝與藝術。
在其認知只要是創作，都是源出於人文的涵養與藝術的思維，其哲學與本質是共通的，所以也就沒有創作領域的問題。
在創辦人的帶領下，西屹設計從一開始的工業設計領域，跨足至視覺設計、展覽策劃、活動規劃、社區聯結，全方位整合實績豐富。

程湘如老師，投入設計文創領域30多年，是最早深入偏鄉及協助農會轉型、進行輔導、培訓的身體力行者，在業界被稱為文創教主。並長期積極為台灣傳統產業尋找出路，曾參與陶瓷、玻璃、竹藝、木雕、漆器、金屬、織染等產業轉型及輔導顧問，並與工藝產業合作開發60項以上產品，已為傳統產業建立30個品牌，自行開發的文創商品約500個品項，熟悉傳統到現代的產業發展歷程。近年著力文藝策展、頂層規劃開發、傳統產業轉型輔導、品牌診斷輔導，文創教育培訓及顧問等工作。其地方創生經驗豐富，針對挖掘傳統產業特色，為其量身打造獨特形象之翻轉競爭力，並深耕推動生活美學的經驗，符合本次計劃目標「用即是美」的生活美學思維，並能指導運用在地特色工藝形塑展覽特色，巧妙呈現工藝的人文地景精神。

頑石文創開發顧問 程湘如總監

策展顧問

黃世輝教授，社區總體營造專論，文化產業專論。社區總體營造專論是他的核心領域之一，近期聚焦在地方工藝的調查研究，以及透過工藝物件討論其價值觀、社會網絡。這些努力是試圖建立工藝社造的理論。另一個核心領域是文化產業，近期聚焦在以地方工藝的文化生態為基礎，提出創意設計，藉由設計引導地方工藝的發展。符合這次計劃目標「工藝．公益．公意」及具有工藝專業，能以中心七十年為基礎爬梳臺灣工藝發展脈絡，及未來發展方向。

雲林科技大學 黃世輝教授

2022年由國立臺灣工藝研究發展中心輔導、來自全國多元領域之工藝美術協會團體、國家工藝成就獎得主及文化部登錄人間國寶等頂尖工藝大師共同發起成立，並邀集全國工藝美術文化界佼佼者，攜手促進臺灣工藝的繁榮和發展，更禮聘多位產官學界重量級顧問提供協助與諮詢，期盼結合工藝產業與觀光旅遊、學術研究、社福關懷及其他異業合作等產業生態，進而跨域協力並共創新時代之臺灣工藝發展脈絡。

生活美學是一種生活方式的選擇，也是生活品味的展現。雖然每個人選擇的內容和展現的方式不同，但都是一種價值，而價值的高低和社經地位並不成正比，完全取決於個人的感受力和經驗。

美學的內涵在於創意，在於啟發，在於包容和人性的顯現。而美學的形式在於秩序，在於規律，在於和諧，在於張力。生活美學是一種美感的生活享受，人活著的意義在於享受生活，如果人活得很沒趣，活得沒有品質，便失去了生命的意義。

人因為美而活著，美學彰顯個人的品味和風格，在食衣住行育樂中，處處可以展現我們的美學素養。不用深奧的哲學理論，只要我們隨時用心去感受，美學自然存在生活之中。

工藝遶境_第四境風味臺東
Fourth Stop of the Craft Pilgrimage in Taitung – Authentic Flavor of the Land

臺灣第一代西畫家顏水龍1937年開始長達五個多月的全台火車環島行，進行臺灣工藝產業的田野調查，這一趟環臺旅程影響著顏水龍由美術創作擴及工藝領域的轉向。「國立臺灣工藝研究發展中心」前身為顏水龍於1954年7月促成設立的「南投縣工藝研究班」，成就許多臺灣重要的第一代工藝家，模塑臺灣的工藝發展。

以「大樹」串起工藝生態發展的脈絡，國立臺灣工藝研究發展中心是臺灣工藝發展的源頭，經由「風」的傳遞，將工藝種子散播到各地，歷經70年的紥根茁壯，在各地皆已大樹成林，展現不同水土在工藝表述上的獨特風貌。

我們藉由「工藝遶境」展覽，展開六個地區的跨域「巡」禮，巡字左邊走字，代表工藝遶境的行動，中央川字代表河界、也就是地域的界線，呼應工藝遶境是以山川地區形成的自然環境生態區域，展現出在地工藝與人創作形成的獨特面貌，分別為我們帶來生命美好的價值與啟發，實踐「活工藝 工藝活」的相生循環。

臺東山與海的大自然天際線，雕琢出奔放原味的大氣場，吸引自我追尋的工藝家們在此找到初心，就地取材開創出獨特風格之作；而原住民的工藝家們，在山海石地氣中，信手拈來的原始況味，展現力拔山河的神話之作；透過作品，我們窺見原住民對自然的敬畏、對生命的熱愛，也是對世代進行文化傳承的重要軌跡。

As Taiwan's first-generation artist in Western-style painting, Master Shui-Long Yen, embarked on a train trip around Taiwan for more than five months to conduct field research in craft industry in 1937. This journey prompted Master Yen’s drift away from art creation to the field of crafts. National Taiwan Craft Research and Development Institute was formerly known as Nantou County Craft Research Training Program founded by Shui-Long Yen in July 1954. It has since influenced many prominent first-generation craft artists in Taiwan and shaped the course of Taiwan's crafts history and industry.

Using the image of "big tree" to symbolize the evolution and development of craft ecology, National Taiwan Craft Research and Development Institute is the origin of Taiwan's craft development. Through the “wind” the seeds of crafts have been spread all over the country, and taken root after 70 years. Today the craft has taken various forms and evolved into many diverse styles throughout the island.

By launching the “Craft Pilgrimage,” we begin a cross-regional “tour” in six areas. The character of “tour” in Mandarin includes “walk” on the left-hand side, and “river” in the middle, which refers to as the boundary of respective regions and perfectly echoes that the “Craft Pilgrimage” is nurtured by mountains and rivers, natural environment and ecological areas. It shows that the unique appearance formed by local crafts and creative artworks bring us the value and inspiration of beautiful life, creating a productive cycle of "living crafts and crafts in living.”

The astonishing natural landscape in Taitung provides an authentic environment for craft artists to retreat and reconnect with their original artistic inspiration. All the materials that can be found and used here are unique and inspiring. Indigenous craft artists draw inspiration from the mountains, ocean, stones, and land, weaving these elements into their creations and telling enchanting stories through their art. We can glimpse the indigenous people's reverence for nature and love for life, which is also an important trajectory for cultural inheritance from generation to generation.

臺灣雖不產虎，但人們對牠並不陌生，尤其時常出現在民俗信仰、美術造型裡，可謂深入人心。 民間取虎之勇猛，代表生命力旺盛，作為鴻圖大展的預兆，又有消災避邪的效用，也成為兒童的守護。 此作，更有特殊涵義，他以錫形塑一行走中的老虎，置於花樟木台座上，看來虎虎生風虎旁象徵性地立一株綠竹。「虎」與「福」諧音，「錫」與「惜」同音，與「賜」諧音，所以錫虎寓意「惜福」、「賜福」；至於「竹」又與「祝」諧音，因此整件作品象徵「祝福」。

Although there aren’t tigers in Taiwan, but it doesn’t mean we are unfamiliar with them. Especially, they are often seen in traditional beliefs and in art designs. The story of people fight with tigers shows the courage and the vigorous vitality. As a harbinger of great ambitions, it also has the effect of warding off disasters and evil spirits, and has also become the guardian of children. This artwork used Tin to shape - tiger in a walking movement, and placed in the base made of camphor wood makes it more vivid. Besides the tiger stands a green bamboo symbolically. Tiger is homophonic to the word ‘blessing’. Tin is homophone to cherish, homophonic to giving. Therefore, a Tin tiger symbolizes cherishing blessing and giving blessing. And bamboo is homophonic to wish, this whole artwork therefore symbolizes giving blessing.
