纏絲是相當民俗且大眾的工藝，簡單紙板加上鐵絲、繡線就可以做出生動活潑的題材。對我來說，以新的技法去挑戰這樣的傳統工藝是蠻有趣的。我從臺灣的信仰中去轉化，再回來談主題，過程中結合不同的纏花技法，融合豐富的廟宇色彩與符號，經由轉譯來構成生活物件。
Silk-wrapping is a traditional folk craft that's both accessible and expressive—lively figures can be made using only cardboard, wire, and embroidery thread.
For me, it's fascinating to explore new techniques as a way of reinterpreting such a humble tradition. Drawing inspiration from Taiwanese folk beliefs, I develop contemporary themes through layers of craft translation. By combining various thread-wrapping methods with the vibrant palette and symbolic language of temple culture, I create everyday objects infused with spiritual resonance.
