新竹公會堂興建於1921年，為當時新竹市民重要的集會場所。不僅見證了新竹市區發展與變遷，更是目前街區少有僅存的舊建築。此作品將以型糊染藍染技巧表達對這歷史建築的緬懷與敬意。
The Hsinchu Assembly Hall was built in 1921 and was an important gathering place for the citizens of Hsinchu at that time. It not only witnessed the urban development and transformation of Hsinchu City, also is one of the few remaining old buildings in the current neighborhood. This work will express nostalgia and respect for this historical structure through the stencil-dyeing indigo technique.
