[The 2012 New Craft FUN – the New Craft Talent Enrolment Project] Material: Wood, porcelain, acrylic Size: (whole) 40x40x8cm The idea of “layered mountains” in ancient Chinese landscape painting was transformed into aesthetics of modern everyday life. The work was designed as a base in geometric square and a variety of miniature hill modules of varying heights that can be freely assembled. Users can arrange them as they please on their desks or in a corner of their homes, so that urban dwellers can rediscover the interactive joy and spiritual healing of “being in the mountains” within a small space.
