This piece is a so-to-speak classic example of the fusion of “classical devotion and modern technology.” Drawing inspiration from the “ink stone” and “ink stick” found in traditional study rooms, the designer boldly translated their functions into a “business card holder” and a “USB flash drive”, which are necessary tools for modern business. As a result of this humorous and ingenious transformation, the ritualistic atmosphere of ancient scholars’ calligraphy extends elegantly into the digital work routines in modern offices.
