「廣」有廣告、廣闊和學習廣泛之意；「賢」則有賢能、賢慧、賢事之意。公廣系從廣告、公關、行銷、影音、設計、活動的專業課程再到實務學習課程、產學接觸、海外實習機會等，展現公廣系廣闊的學習範圍，多重的領域學習機會也正呼應現今社會中最具影響力的「賢事」。
「多廣賢事」同時也是期許本屆畢業生能學以致用，發揮公廣系「多廣賢事」的本質及所學專業，在現今廣闊豐富的產業中打造自我價值，不受職場專業的框架拘束，成為擁有洞察能力、責任感、賢能的人才，面對複雜事物能抽絲剝繭，從未知中找出細節且擁有遠見的能者，而在團隊中，成為為達成目標不懈努力、遇到任何事都願意付出心力、論多困難都能用自身能力完美完成的角色。
