竹，中空有節，作者利用孟宗竹頭之實心部位，依自然之形體，以擬人化之手法，保留竹根為眼部及背部之自然肌理，極簡、巧雕來呈現作品的質感。
Introduction
Bamboos are hollow with nodes. The author uses the solid parts of Meng Zong bamboo. Based on its natural shapes and anthropomorphic techniques, the natural texture of the roots is preserved. The texture of the piece is presented through minimalism and skillful carving.
