木材、玻璃、鳳凰花標本 Wood, Glass, Specimen of Flame Tree With wooden base: 12 × 28 鳳凰木又名洋楹、火燄樹、紅花楹樹,原生非洲馬達加斯加,1897年由日本人引進台灣,1917年移栽在台南現今的中山路與南門路,每年小滿節氣後(5月中旬後),鳳凰木花開火紅滿樹,鳳凰花豔麗整街道,因此台南有鳳凰花城之稱。當年栽種之鳳凰木僅存台南孔廟紅牆外與圓環周邊的幾株百年老鳳凰木。鳳凰花經標本乾燥後永久封存在玻璃裡,以玻璃鑲嵌技法永久封存美麗姿態,成為生活中空間裡永恆收藏品。 "Poinciana, also known as jacaranda, flame tree, and jacaranda tree, is native to Madagascar, Africa. It was introduced to Taiwan by the Japanese in 1897 and transplanted in 1917 on what is now Zhongshan Road and Nanmen Road in Tainan. Every year after the solar term (after mid-May), the trees are covered with red flowers, and the streets are filled with gorgeous flowers of Flame Tree, so Tainan is known as the Flower of Flame Tree City. Only a few hundred-year-old Flame Tree planted at that time are left outside the red wall of Tainan Confucius Temple and around the roundabout. After the specimen of Flame Tree is dried, it is permanently sealed in glass. The beautiful posture is permanently sealed using glass inlay techniques, becoming an eternal collection in the space of life.
