Drops of Water Make an Ocean

Everyone has their unique experiences in their different life processes. It may seem unrelated, may if you see it with longer timeline, all the experiences combined as an important value as a person. This work is a metaphor for the impact or change of various experiences on life, which may break a peaceful life or change it for the better. It may not be understood at the moment, but when looking back, one can understand that these experiences are inevitable processes, just like drops of water that gather into the sea. This work uses red copper to saw the shape of a water splash, press it deep with a hydraulic press, and then use forging to shape the height and lines of the water droplets to create the scene of large and small water droplets dripping to express the scale of life experiences. Using enamel afterward to present different levels of water color to express the seemingly invisible connection between various experiences.
