貝殼、天然漆、竹 Shell, Natural Lacquer, Bamboo / L46×W14×H60
「門內庭趣」是一件以門神及麻雀為題材，竹胎為主體，貝殼及樹漆為材質的竹地螺鈿漆藝作品。作品運用多種類的黑蝶貝、白蝶貝、鮑魚貝等天然色澤，藉由鋸切、研磨、線雕等加工方式，將貝殼鑲嵌於竹胎雕凹處，藉由樹漆的黏著性貼付貝殼，並將竹、貝、髹漆整體研磨平整。鑲嵌的過程中需考量木工雕刻凹處與貝殼相對的厚度，達到嵌平無縫的精準度。
"Courtyard Charm Within the Gate" is a bamboo-lacquer inlay artwork featuring door gods and sparrows. The piece utilizes Black-Lipped Pearl Oyster, White-Lipped Pearl Oyster, and Abalone shell, which are meticulously processed through sawing, grinding, and line engraving before being inlaid into the carved recesses of the bamboo base. The natural adhesive properties of lacquer secure the shells in place, and the entire surface is polished to a seamless finish. Throughout the inlay process, careful adjustments ensure that the carved recesses and shell thickness align precisely, achieving a flawless integration of bamboo, shell, and lacquer.
