羅發迪作為新聞業新手在某天上班時受到上司指派工作。「什麼？要我去採訪？」採訪一個上世界週期出生的人－杜惟。他在世界末日後消失了許久，如今突然出現，還自稱要給傳媒公司爆料獨家新聞。杜惟聲稱各國政府早就掌握了末日前後的資料，直到最近才正在安排公開。而他的真實身分是個凝華者。這類人數量不少，埋伏在我們週遭，偽裝成普通人過日子，伺機而動。
Nobody, a beginner of journalism, he was assigned a job by his boss. "What? You want me to interview him?" Interview a person born in the previous world cycle - Devil. He disappeared for so long after the end of the world but suddenly appears again. He also claimed that he wanted to break an exclusive news for the media company: the government has some informations about the end of the world, and they was only recently made it public. Devil’s true identity is a Upgrader. There are a lot of Upgraders around us without perceive, pretending to be ordinary people for living, waiting for opportunities.
