COVID-19 has brought many challenges and changes to the world. People are forced to change their lifestyles, workplaces. After experiencing "Blank in’" in different situations, we began to re-examine ourselves and the group, the environment, culture, values and other issues. And we understand in the new daily life - "Blank, create more possibilities."
Peter Brook, the international theatre master, mentions in his book "The Empty Space" that "the simpler the stage, the more you can focus on the performance; the fewer props on the stage, the more the diverse nature of life and infinite imagination can be displayed, achieving a highly dramatic performance communication style." Designers, in a post-pandemic world, are focusing on various issues in an increasingly simplified life and transforming their experiences of "empty" into designs, extending them into a versatile and infinite stage.
"Blank in’ " does not mean returning to zero, but that has more possibilities. After we speculate, explore and experiment, we form a variety of themes and become "fill in." We "fill in the blanks" and re-establish connections with the world in new ways, The final answers are not limited to the picture, and different media are used to guide the viewer to stimulate their imagination.
Visual identity
The rapid changes in life have affected the environment, light, shadow, and form we see. In the gradient formed after the blur, we use different ways of thinking and find suitable tools to fill in the "empty" in new ways. We focus on the everyday details that are usually ignored and turn them into themes. The answers we fill in are not limited to the surface but use new media to lead viewers to endless imagination.
