由於「標本師」的工作需求，他們常常要接觸死亡的生物，因此許多人對這個職業感到畏懼、排斥。
但他們卻像是有魔法一樣將逝去的生命以「標本」的形象留在世間。
本組動畫藉由這個比較不被大眾接受的職業為題材，表述「標本」其實也能視為是生命的另一種延續，喚起對生命意義的思考。_「生命縱然消殞，回憶和情感也可永久凝存。」

Many people feel intimidated and repelled by the profession of "taxiderm" because of the demands of their work, in which they often come into contact with dead creatures.
But they seem to have magically left their lost lives in the world in the form of "specimens".
We uses this relatively unacceptable profession as the theme to express that "specimens" can actually be regarded as another continuation of life, arousing thinking about the meaning of life.
