國立臺灣工藝研究發展中心（以下簡稱本中心）隸屬於文化部，致力於工藝文化推廣與工藝產業扶植，業務職掌包含工藝研創、人才培育、工藝檢測、研究出版與展覽、工藝典藏加值應用、地方工藝扶植、工藝美學教育推廣、工藝品牌認證、工藝產業輔導、國際交流合作等服務項目工作。

工藝源自生活，以人為本。臺灣具有多元工藝文化，在當代快速變遷的環境中，工藝仍然持續追求成長、迎接改變。優良工藝精神要傳承，做法與時俱進有創新，唯一不變的核心精神在於堅持、頂真以及追求極致，而這樣的工藝精神同時也是臺灣人民的普世價值，一路以來腳踏實地打拼，共同繁榮臺灣這塊土地。

本中心以「活」為中心思想，倡議「活工藝．工藝活」，期許人人生活有工藝，讓工藝活重新被活絡，更提倡工藝「漫活SLOHAS」是樂活事，以簡單（Simplicity）不簡單的方式，形成一種符合時代性的生活型態（Lifestyle），找出具原創性（Originality）的機會點，給予人們健康（Health）且具備美學（Aesthetics）的生活方式，將此精神向外分享出去，達成永續發展（Sustainability）目標的一種生活態度。換言之，工藝「漫活SLOHAS」的生活態度，是S到S之間永續無限∞的善藝循環。

更連結ESG、SDGs、碳中和等重要議題，藉由循環永續的ESG for Craft概念，用工藝、做公益、成公意。盼以工藝美化人心，美化臺灣。持續厚實文化底蘊，促進產業經濟，更藉此向世界遞出臺灣工藝的名片，讓世界透過工藝看見臺灣。

文化是國家的靈魂，也是一個國家帶給世界的第一印象。臺灣目前站在世界的浪頭之上，身後的文化發展早在歷經千錘百煉後，化成璀璨奪目的寶石。文化部作為臺灣藝術文化的服務者，將以「文化永續，世界臺灣」為核心理念，從「生活的文化」、「思想的文化」、「創造的文化」與「傳播的文化」等四大面向出發，用行動創新的方式持續深耕，讓臺灣文化的光芒成為民主世界的燈塔。

一、生活的文化：再造歷史現場，振興國家語言，文化走入生活
持續以點、線、面重建歷史現場，以健全法制強化文化資產保存，推動有形、無形文化資產傳承、創新與再生。推動國家語言研究、復振計畫，打造語言友善平權的環境。持續深化社區營造，催生民間劇場聚落，使文化活動走入各地，結合文化平權、人權教育，凝聚對土地歷史認同和不同族群間彼此尊重。

二、思想的文化：重建臺灣藝術史，博物館舍再升級
持續推動「重建臺灣藝術史」工程，透過臺灣藝術家的故事將文化教育向下扎根，並以文化幣鼓勵青年學子走入藝文場域消費，培養藝文鑑賞品味。持續推動博物館、美術館智慧科技升級，研提與時俱進的博物館政策及法規制度，強化各館舍資源共享合作，帶給全民多元、全面的文化體驗。

三、創造的文化：保障藝文工作者，壯大臺灣文化內容
健全法規制度，提供所有文化藝術工作者具保障的創作環境，以支持藝文創作產業。整合政府、民間資源，邀請企業合作投資、培養人才，為臺灣文化內容注入更多資源，包括影視音、各式圖文出版、遊戲、動漫、設計、文化科技等，形成在文化和經濟上，足以影響世界的「臺流經濟」，讓臺灣不只是科技之島，也是自由的創作之島。

四、傳播的文化：臺灣文化走向世界，爭取國際話語權
強化公共媒體和國際頻道，以優質內容向世界發聲，並以多元、自由為核心，吸引國際媒體進駐臺灣。支持臺灣影視音串流平台跨域合作，以影視音國家隊的方式走向國際化，強化臺灣影視音內容海外輸出之能量。持續以臺灣文化跟世界交朋友，建立國際藝文各領域的交流模式與合作計畫，深化國際之間的藝文創作鏈結。

2024年為國立臺灣工藝研究發展中心70週年，倡議「活工藝．工藝活」理念，並以今（2025）年為「心工藝運動元年」接續推動「工藝70+1」，提倡「漫活SLOHAS_是樂活事」，彰顯「工藝 是漫波快樂．生活事」的一種態度。「漫活SLOHAS」是在地思維結合慢活（SLOW）與樂活（LOHAS）的生活態度，其核心價值包含簡單（Simplicity）、生活型態（Lifestyle）、原創（Originality）、健康（Health）、美學（Aesthetics）及永續（Sustainability），強調工藝「漫活SLOHAS」是S到S之間形成永續無限∞的「善藝」循環。

期待透過工藝「漫活SLOHAS」啟動社會的「漣漪效應」，從工藝活動與民眾互動，讓人感動，引發大家一起行動，持續累積正能量，最終形成全民參與的生活運動。就如同投入湖中的工藝之磚，激起層層漣漪，應用智慧科技與企業ESG永續行動，讓社會自然形成「拋一磚，引千重浪」的「工藝運動」，於臺北當代工藝設計分館策辦「位來．2025臺灣工藝展」，以「工藝未來，為你而來」為主題，回應工藝如何在時間中演進，並深刻融入日常生活。

本展以「回歸工藝本質」為核心理念，強調工藝不僅僅是形式的展示或裝飾品的排列，而是源自對生活需求的回應與文化意義的延續。從自然素材的選擇與轉化，到職人精湛手藝的傳承與創新，工藝承載著生活品質的提問與追求，並非停留於傳統的回顧，而是持續與當代生活、設計美學、環境關懷、甚至時尚文化對話，展現出跨時代、跨領域的眺望。本展共規劃三大展區，分別以【守藝】、【竹聲】、【茶筵】為題，透過「茶」與「竹」兩大文化素材為主軸，呈現職人堅守技藝的精神，並串聯材料、感官、空間與時節的層層脈絡，探索工藝在現代生活中的多元樣貌與美學實踐。

為符合ESG理念的永續實踐，展陳空間布局打破傳統以展櫃為主的呈現方式，以極簡方式進行展場規劃，意在營造工藝與生活自然交融的場域。透過空間感官的引導，觀者不僅能看見作品的細節，更能親身感受工藝在生活之中的存在與轉化，激發對日常美感審美力的再思。其中，二樓【守藝】聚焦「從工具到工藝」的演進軌跡，彰顯技藝隨時間積累而成的深度；以影像為媒介，捕捉工藝家歷經淬鍊的雙手交織過去與未來的技藝脈絡，傳遞出師徒間「手把手」的文化延續與精神實踐；三樓【竹聲】以「竹」為媒介，融合工藝的香氣與質感，探討材料的生命力與聲音的感知，工藝與自然共鳴，透過傳統技法與當代語彙的結合，展現竹工藝在時代轉變中的新貌；四樓【茶筵】則透過茶席文化串聯百位工藝家的技藝交流，營造心靈對話與品味美學交織的現場。十二張茶席象徵十二月令，承載不同時節對生活的講究，亦展現工藝品於日常中的實踐與對生活美學的追求。

「生活的進程是工藝，工藝的前沿是生活」，「位來．2025臺灣工藝展」不僅是一場展覽，更是一場未來生活的邀請。本展透過當代策展語言與傳統技藝的對話，重新理解工藝的社會角色，並以此為基礎，開創屬於臺灣工藝的未來定位。


In 2024, the National Taiwan Craft Research and Development Institute (NTCRI) celebrated its 70th anniversary, championing the philosophy of “Living Craft, Craft Living.” In 2025, the institute will continue this vision by launching the “The First Year of the Heart-Centered Craft Movement” as part of the initiative “Craft 70+1,” which promotes the idea of “SLOHAS Living: A Joyful Way of Life.” This concept emphasizes the belief that “Craft is a Slow, Joyful, and Living Matter.” “SLOHAS” is a lifestyle concept grounded in local thinking, merging SLOW living with LOHAS (Lifestyles of Health and Sustainability). The term SLOHAS, beginning and ending with an S, encompasses Simplicity, Lifestyle, Originality, Health, Aesthetics, and Sustainability—creating an infinite cycle of “Good Craft.” This concept emphasizes how craft reflects a sustainable and joyful rhythm of life.

By embracing the SLOHAS spirit in craftsmanship, the NTCRI aims to ignite a ripple effect throughout society—engaging individuals through craft-related events and interactions, inspiring collective action, and fostering a continuous buildup of positive energy. Ultimately, this initiative aspires to evolve into a nationwide lifestyle movement. Much like a stone cast into a lake, craft serves as the catalyst for ripples of change. Backed by innovative technology and corporate ESG sustainability efforts, the vision is to establish a system where a single action generates thousands of waves. Crafting Future: 2025 Taiwan Craft Exhibition, held at the Taipei Branch, embodies this vision under the theme “The Future of Craftsmanship Is Set to Inspire You!” and emphasizes its deep integration into everyday life.

The exhibition centers on the core concept of “Returning to the Essence of Craft,” advocating that craft is not merely about form or decorative arrangement; rather, it is rooted in responding to the needs of everyday life and carrying forward cultural significance. From the selection and transformation of natural materials to the inheritance and innovation of artisan skills, craft embodies a continual inquiry into and pursuit of quality living. It is not confined to a retrospective of tradition; instead, it engages in an ongoing dialogue with contemporary life, design aesthetics, environmental concerns, and even fashion culture—offering a vision that transcends time and disciplines. The exhibition comprises three major sections: Crafts Keepers, Silent Bamboo, and Tea Banquet. By utilizing the cultural materials of tea and bamboo as thematic anchors, the exhibition emphasizes the spirit of artisanship and interweaves layers of material, sensory experience, space, and seasonality. This approach allows for an exploration of the diverse expressions and aesthetic practices of craft in contemporary life.

In alignment with ESG principles and sustainability values, the exhibition layout departs from traditional showcase-based displays. A minimalist design approach creates a space where craftsmanship and daily life naturally blend. By guiding the viewer’s senses through the environment, the exhibition allows visitors to not only observe the fine details of the works but also to physically experience how craft exists and transforms within everyday life—rekindling an appreciation for the beauty found in daily moments. On the second floor, traces the evolution “From tool to Craft,” highlighting the depth of skills accumulated over time. Through the medium of film, the exhibition captures the skilled hands of artisans, interweaving the heritage and future of their craft “hand-over-hand” while conveying the cultural and spiritual continuity of the hands-on mentorship tradition. On the third floor, Silent Bamboo, blending the scent and texture of craftsmanship to explore the vitality of the material and the perception of sound. This section evokes a resonance between craft and nature, presenting innovative expressions of bamboo craftsmanship through a fusion of traditional techniques and contemporary language. On the fourth floor, Tea Banquet unites the artistry of a hundred craftspeople through the culture of the tea ceremony, creating a space where spiritual dialogue and aesthetic sensibilities intertwine. Twelve tea settings represent the twelve months of the year, each reflecting seasonal lifestyle rituals and illustrating how craft practices are integrated into and enhance everyday living.

“The process of life is craftsmanship. The forefront of craftsmanship is life!” Crafting Future: 2025 Taiwan Craft Exhibition is not merely an exhibition; it is an invitation to envision a new way of living. Through a curatorial dialogue that bridges contemporary expression and traditional craftsmanship, the exhibition redefines the social role of craft and paves a new path for the future of Taiwanese craft.

位來．2025臺灣工藝展

位來 CRAFTING FUTURE

2樓展場以「守藝」為名，展現雙手與工藝的深刻連結。展場以特製手部造型展架與大型工藝家手部影像輸出為主軸，邀請專業攝影師鄭鼎拍攝，呈現工藝職人專注技藝的瞬間，彰顯以「手把手」傳承的百工技藝。影像則由當代影像創作者陳普創作，詮釋「從工具到工藝」的短影片，見證承載的技術與文化。空間設計注重沉浸式體驗，開放動線引領觀者探索臺灣當代工藝的細膩與創新，張仲禹的「工藝品展架」將技法與生活美學融為一體。展覽不僅啟發工藝與設計的對話，亦向大眾傳遞工藝與生活的理念，讓工藝化身時尚樣貌與未來身影。

The second-floor exhibition space, titled "Crafts Keepers," highlights the profound connection between hands and craftsmanship. Centered around custom-designed hand-shaped display stands and large-format images of artisans’ hands, the exhibition features photographs by professional photographer Cheng Ting, capturing the precise moments of skilled hands at work. These visuals emphasize the tradition of passing down craftsmanship "hand in hand."
Complementing the photography is a short film created by contemporary visual artist Chen Pu, interpreting the journey "from tools to craft" and bearing witness to the transmission of skills and culture. The spatial design prioritizes an immersive experience, with an open layout that guides visitors through the subtlety and innovation of contemporary Taiwanese crafts. Designer Chang Chung-Yu’s craft display stands integrate refined techniques with everyday aesthetics, merging artistry and life.
This exhibition not only fosters a dialogue between craft and design but also communicates the philosophy of craft in daily life, presenting it as both a fashionable expression and a vision of the future.
