故事最初的靈感來源為其中一位組員高中時期創作的兒童繪本，組員們對於其具有奇幻、冒險、童心的故事型態很有共鳴，並躍躍欲試將這個故事透過3D動畫和劇情改編重新呈現，製造出不同感受和趣味，我們期望做出一部大人小孩都適合觀賞的短篇動畫作品。
故事主題圍繞著孩童的幻想世界，試著站在一個五歲孩童的天馬行空想像力去看世界，儘管是平凡無奇的日常生活，孩童會有不同的感受和見解，透過這次的主題研究更加了解到，孩童對於人事物的敏銳度和了解特別珍貴，更是他們獨特之處，也時時提醒著成年的我們，保持童心。
