有別於傳統以實體指針呈現時間的方式，本時鐘系列之設計概念，透過光線角度的變化以及樹木年輪間隔疏密之差異，來傳達「時」與「分」的抽象概念，並據此隱喻時間的遞延。
一圈圈年輪刻畫出時間印記，疏密變化訴說著每一年春夏秋冬。本設計「年輪」以年輪間的疏密變化作為創作理念，圓盤持續地推擠而產生動態變化，暗喻時間推移並藉此判別時間。
日升日落代表著時間悄然地流逝，本設計「餘暉」參考太陽與地球之間的運轉模式，以光線照射角度的變化作為創作理念，藉由燈光從縫隙中照射在山丘上的方位來指示時間。

Different from the traditional way of presenting time with physical hands, the design concept of this clock series conveys the abstract concepts of "hours" and "minutes" through changes in the angle of light and the difference in the density of annual rings, and uses this as a metaphor for the passage of time.
Annual rings depicts the time imprint, and the change in density tells the story of every season. The design concept of "Log" is based on the density changes between the annual rings. The central disk are continuously pushed and pushed to produce dynamic changes, which are metaphors for the passage of time and use this to judge the time.
Sunrise and sunset represent the passage of time. The creative concept of "Twilight" is referenced to the movement between the sun and the earth, and the change in the angle of light irradiation. Time is represented by where the light shines from the gap to the mountain.
