「如果說，每個人都有屬於自己的安全空間，那裡有著在母體子宮裡的滿足和自在，那麽在我的記憶中，便是一個可以暫時與世界脫節、一個可以無所畏懼的地方。」——《時光走向女孩》〈關起門來的美好寂寞〉房間是較為私密的空間，這幾堵圍起房間的牆似乎成為某種邊界，而在哪裏才可以寧靜、不被打擾，或許相較於無邊無際的曠野，我們還是習慣依附於熟悉的現實，在現實中追尋不思想，甚至遺忘自身的片刻，也許這是對於生活現狀的訴求與暫時的解脫。本展覽以《關起門來的美好寂寞》為展題，結合「現實」、「逃離/逃避」、「自我探究」作為核心概念發展創作，將細分各項子題，試圖藉由不同視角與表達方式針對「逃離、逃避」進行探究與近詮釋，藝術家們從文本、自身故事出發，展開一連串自我省思的旅途，沿著「聽說故事」這處像房間一般有著鋼琴、沙發的展場空間，讓作品在既有的展呈條件下成為彼此相互流動的狀態。如此逃離與逃避在多數人眼中就不只是負面的存在、消極的行為，經由藝術家層層剖開逃逸的不同面向，並從中碰撞、交織出多元的觀點，形成「逃逸」的不同姿態與其他可能。
