for the general public, and promote continued learning, so as
to build a harmonious and peaceful society. Devotees' education is an indispensable part of Dharma propagation. So as to enable devotees to advance progressively in their learning and practice of the Dharma, Fo Guang Shan has promoted education programs across the world such as Urban Buddhist
College, Srimala Institute, Buddha's Light Open University, and community programs in various cities and regions of Taiwan.
