The artist weaved fine silver threads densely into three-dimensional vases that give a “sense of space”. Out of the box of sophisticated totems of traditional religious artifacts, the works exhibit clean, modern lines instead. The silvery translucent body of the vase is paired with a steady square base that is black with a subdued luster. With the stylish “black-and-white contrast” and metal feet at the base, the spirit of contemporary craftsmanship is perfectly embodied.
