Using repeatedly intertwined braids as a visual language, this work symbolizes the emotional relationships within a family and highlights the “bond” between parent and child. Through the process of organizing my thoughts and reflecting on myself, my perspective has gradually shifted toward contemplation and seeing things from different viewpoints. Although my own inner conflicts remain unresolved, the process of seeking understanding has slowly guided me away from an urgent need for emotional expression and toward a more mindful practice of slowing down, observing, and becoming more aware.
