CT150是顏水龍於1937年展開全臺火車環島之旅時所乘坐的蒸氣火車，這段長達五個多月的旅程象徵著他對臺灣工藝美術發展的深入探索。2024年適逢工藝中心成立70週年，特別委託謝嘉亨老師再創「工藝列車」，以火車頭象徵自1954年以來，工藝中心作為臺灣工藝發展的堅實基石，帶領工藝技藝在各地傳承發揚、開枝散葉。2024-2025年，工藝列車巡迴了六個城市，每節車廂代表一座城市，象徵著各地工藝力量的匯聚，共同與火車頭前行，凝聚出強大的動能。這列陶瓷蒸氣火車不僅是一段旅程，更是臺灣工藝傳承與未來創新的精神象徵。

CT150 was the steam locomotive Shui-Long Yen took on his 1937 train journey around Taiwan, symbolizing his exploration of Taiwan’s craft arts. For the 70th anniversary of the National Taiwan Craft Research and Development Institute, Chia-Heng Hsieh was commissioned to recreate the “Train of Craft Arts.” The locomotive represents the Institute’s role as a foundation for Taiwan’s craft development since 1954. In 2024, the train toured six cities, with each carriage gathering the craft energy of a different place. This ceramic steam train stands as a symbol of Taiwan’s craft heritage and future innovation.
