C-Slurry. C-Slurry: Window of Wabi-Sabi in Motion

C-Cube Lab 吳瑞婷 C-Cube Lab, Ray Wu

C-Slurry H26×W15×L2 cm 《C-Slurry. The piece 𝘊-𝘚𝘭𝘶𝘳𝘳𝘺: 𝘞𝘪𝘯𝘥𝘰𝘸 𝘰𝘧 𝘞𝘢𝘣𝘪-𝘚𝘢𝘣𝘪 𝘪𝘯 𝘔𝘰𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 marks the artist's first experiment with C-Slurry, a blend of recycled red brick, oyster shell, and pulp waste. As the material was poured and compressed layer by layer, it settled organically—retaining the traces of its making. Cracks, unpressed corners, and bleeding pigments speak to the fluidity and unpredictability of the process, reflecting the artist's instinct and rhythm at the outset of creation. C-Slurry's low-carbon, customizable, and open-ended nature makes it ideal for artistic practice, education, and co-creation. This fragment becomes a quietly opening window of wabi-sabi, capturing a moment of tactile dialogue—and inviting others to pause and enter that evolving stillness.
