國立臺灣工藝研究發展中心隸屬於文化部，致力於工藝文化推廣與工藝產業扶植，業務職掌包含工藝研創、人才培育、工藝檢測、研究出版與展覽、工藝典藏加值應用、地方工藝扶植、工藝美學教育推廣、工藝品牌認證、工藝產業輔導、國際交流合作等服務項目工作。
The National Taiwan Craft Research and Development Institute, under the Ministry of Culture, is dedicated to promoting craft culture and supporting the craft industry. Its core responsibilities include craft research and innovation, talent cultivation, craft testing, publications and exhibitions, collection and value-added applications, local craft development, craft aesthetics education, industry guidance, brand development, product certification, and international cooperation.
