針對現有長者行走跌倒問題做發想，包含因關節退化導致無法跨越障礙物，還有因為視力退化導致無法看清眼前事物導致踩到障礙物跌倒，以及現有室內輔具不適用窄小空間等，將原有的助行器加以改良。透過升降機構跨越地板上的障礙物，並且利用照明裝置跟障礙物偵測提醒使用者注意。

It is specially designed for the elderly people who have trouble while walking through the door threshold and obstacles.
According to the research that I found, the top two places at home that elderly people could fell are the living room and the bathroom. And these are the places that my design fits in.
Apart from the environment factors, there is another factor that would cause elderlys fell, that is the human body factors. Because of the degegeration of eyes and muscles, elderlyshave higher potential to fell than the youngsters. And my design has the ability to lower the
chance of falling.
With UPPER WALKER, you can walk through the obstacles without an worry, and decrease the chance of getting injuries from falling, make elderlys a much safer place to live in.
