在休閒放鬆與生態意識逐漸抬頭的時代風潮下，融入永續與環境教育將此基地做休閒農場的規劃。除園區與建築室內空間規劃，也期望透過一連串體驗活動，讓忙碌的人們在短暫的遊玩時光裡感受到昔日的農村生活，藉此得到身心靈上的放鬆與滿足。
在國際趨勢的引領下，SDGs為各項活動以及各個空間設計的大指標，此設計融入SDGs2、6、7、11、12、15項，對於人、環境、生物相當重視。
園區內部環繞著幾大活動特色做為設計基礎：花、水、露營以及螢火蟲復育。
花田依不同花種的盛開期，在四季會以不同風貌呈現供遊客觀賞，並於淡季種植蔬果，融入餐廳菜單、或供遊客摘採與DIY體驗。
利用園區內特有的湧泉，結合噴水池以及戲水池之設計，也將做水資源循環，經處理後成為再利用水。
露營區為預約使用，將提供基本露營用品及住宿帳篷，讓旅客能享受露營氣氛，同時也能在園區內體驗從早到晚所規劃的行程。
螢火蟲復育計畫，山坡後有大量檳榔樹園，有著豐沛且純淨的水源，對螢火蟲來說是良好的棲地。因此將致力於復育螢火蟲，也將此打造為玉田的一大特色。
玉田休閒農場預計連動萬巒可可園區做為活動基礎，希望成為地方特色、活絡人流，並將屏東在地農產以及SDGs各大指標融入並推廣至外縣市。

In the era of leisure and environmental awareness, incorporating sustainability and environmental education into the planning of this site as a leisure farm is essential. In addition to the park and indoor space planning, a series of experiential activities are expected to allow busy people to experience the rural life in a short time, thus achieving physical, mental, and spiritual relaxation and satisfaction.
Following international trends, SDGs are the major indicators for all activities and space designs. This design incorporates SDGs 2, 6, 7, 11, 12, and 15, focusing on people, the environment, and biodiversity.
Several major activity features surround the park as the design basis: flowers, water, camping, and firefly conservation.
Depending on the blooming period of different flower species, they will be presented in different styles for visitors to appreciate in each season. During the off-season, vegetables and fruits will be planted, integrated into the restaurant menu, or provided for visitors to pick and DIY.
The unique spring in the park will be used to create a design that combines a fountain and a wading pool. The water will be treated and reused as a part of the water cycle.
The camping area is for reservation only and will provide basic camping supplies and accommodation tents. Travelers can enjoy the camping atmosphere and experience the itinerary planned throughout the park from morning to night.
The firefly conservation plan aims to revive the fireflies. The hillside behind the park is full of betel nut trees with abundant and pure water sources, providing a good habitat for fireflies. Therefore, efforts will be made to revive the fireflies, making it a significant feature of the Yutian leisure farm.
The Yutian leisure farm is expected to work with the Wanluan Cocoa Park as the activity basis, becoming a local feature, stimulating the flow of people, and promoting Pingtung's local agricultural products and SDGs to other counties and cities.
