設計者將秘密基地的概念與組合式積木的玩法結合，嘗試打造一款能讓孩子蓋出小堡壘等建築的大型積木——Fortect，讓孩子既能發揮想像力，也能創造屬於自己的隱私空間。
Fortect源自Fort+Protect，意旨「用堡壘提供保護」，透過組合正方形、三角形積木與圖片板，打造出各式各樣主題造型。

The designers attempted to combine the forts with building blocks to create Fortect, a large building block set that allows children to build small forts and other structures, enabling them to unleash their imagination and create their own private space.
Fortect derives from "Fort" and "Protect", meaning "protect with a fort," using a combination of square and triangular blocks and picture boards to create a variety of themed shapes.
