This section showcases the early office machines and equipment used by bankers. "To do a good job, one must first sharpen one's tools." In order to handle tasks swiftly and accurately, and to enhance work efficiency, from 1970 onwards, First Bank formulated annual plans to progressively acquire and deploy various machines: check deposit recorders, passbook deposit recorders, teller cash dispensers, exchange ticket registrars, banknote counters, coin counters, and English typewriters. In 1977, in line with the Ministry of Finance's experimental bank operations, special attention was given to deploying the NCR2251 electronic teller cash dispensers for use in various experimental branches.
