Deconstructing Green Roof Structure and Environmental Creation
Have you noticed the special structures on this green rooftop? The aquaponics area and scenic garden help alleviate the urban heat island effect and achieve the concept of edible landscaping. The first green rooftop was built at the Green Finance Education Center using our accumulated experiences, and it can generate 4,500 kilowatt-hours annually. In 2020, we installed a 6.6 kilowatt solar power system on the green rooftop at the Huashan Branch, capable of producing 4,100 kilowatt-hours every year, while also keeping out rain and sun. The solar power system provides energy for the green rooftop, thereby achieving goal of power self-sufficiency and making progress toward Net Zero Emissions.
